Pastor Len graduated from University of Dubuque and Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas. He has pastored two other churches while in seminary and graduated in 2007. He and his family moved to Red Oak in July of 2007. 

Pastor Len believes that everyone shares a commonality when it comes to making mistakes and not wanting to admit our mistakes to others. Drawing on his own failures and shortcomings, he uses illustrated teachings with real-life application to assure us that God's not mad or ready to punish us just because we aren't perfect. He knows by experience the greatness of God and wants everyone to know that God is the best when it comes to loving and forgiving us. Pastor Len preaches the Good News that despite our failings- no matter who we are and what we've been through - Christ has paid the price for our shame through the cross once and for all! His challenging message to all is accept God's forgiveness, forgive yourself and "use your life to change a life".

Welcome to First Baptist! I have been married to Pastor Len for thirteen years. We have two daughters Katie and Megan and a six month old grandaughter named Gabi.

I'm known as "Mamabear" because I'm very passionate about children, teens and "underdogs". I feel most comfortable hanging out and loving the people no one else sees or wants to be around.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Jen Palmer. I'm the Worship Leader here at First Baptist Church. I am engaged to Paul, and have 4 beautiful children. Gage, Tyler, Rylee, and Braden.
I have a passion for music. I feel that God gave me a gift, and it is my purpose to bring hearts to Christ through music.
I am the facilitator of Life's Healing Choices, and I am also a chaparone and help wherever I'm needed for Fusion.
